New option for removing QR code for range item receipt

In 3.102, we added an option to prevent printing the QR code on receipts for the driving range setup for Range Servant Select Touch / Pi. 

 

This would be helpful if you do not use the QR code and you would like the receipt only to display the PIN number, thus cleaning up the receipt, saving paper, and avoiding confusion with your members when they try to redeem for range balls at the machine.

To make sure the QR code does not print on the receipt

  1. In POSExpress go to Tools | Options | Sales Options | Driving Range. The Driving Range window displays. 

  2. In the Ball Dispenser section, with the Pin Code checkbox selected, select the Range Servant Select Touch / Pi radio button. The settings display below.

  3. Scroll down to the Printer Settings section, uncheck the Print QR Code checkbox.

  1. Select Save and then Close at the bottom right side of the screen.

BEST PRACTICE: Immediately shut down the software and start it up again.
